Pop of Pink / B&W Striped DSP

  • 4-â…›’’ x 5-â…œ’’

Supplies

1.  Cut and score Whisper White card and Striped card stock. Using 2-½’’ scalloped die, run the DSP through the Big Shot with the die about ¾’’ from the left side and top of the paper. Cut out a 3”x 3” piece of window sheet and adhere to the back of the B&W DSP. Make sure no adhesive is coming out from under the Window Sheet on either side.

2.  Using a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock, stamp the flamingo with Melon Mambo ink and cut out by hand. Adhere flamingo cut out about 1-½’’ from the left of the card and 1’’ from the top and bottom with as many dimensionals as you need (I used about 8 and cut some to fit the legs and beak).

3.  Use the Foam Adhesive Strips and make a continuous border around the window cutout (I used the Embossing Buddy on the sides of the adhesive foam that would be facing the inside of the window cutout before sticking it on, so as to assure that no sequins stick to the foam).  Before you adhere the windowed front of the card onto the actual card with your choice of Dimensionals or Foam, leave one side with the wax paper on the side facing the card (once I sealed the other 3 sides, I used a small paper to funnel the sequins into the window, and then peeled the wax paper off and sealed the 4th side securing the sequins). I used different sequins from some packs I had since I had an overabundance.

4.  Using another piece of scrap WW, stamp in Versamark with the Thank You banner stamp, once stamped, sprinkle with Gold Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool. Cut out by hand and add to the card front with about 3 Dimensionals.

5.  Add a strip of the Pink Washi tape on both sides of the card, with a break for the window.

6.  You're all done!
